Mumbai: The Taapsee Pannu-starrer ‘Shabaash Mithu’ is about land in theatres on July 15.
The movie, directed by Srijit Mukherji and written by Priya Aven, relies on the lifetime of Mithali Dorai Raj, the celebrated skipper of the Indian ladies’s cricket group.

In a profession spanning 23 years, Mithali boasts of seven consecutive 50s in ODIs and has led India in 4 World Cups. The story tracks her journey from being an 8-year-old woman with a dream to changing into a cricketing legend. Earlier on Friday, Taapsee took to her Instagram to announce the discharge date of the movie together with a brand new poster.
She wrote within the caption, “There’s nothing extra highly effective than a woman with a dream and a plan to understand it! It is a story of 1 such woman who chased her dream with a bat on this “Gentleman’s Sport” #ShabaashMithu The Unheard Story Of Girls In Blue shall be in cinemas on fifteenth July 2022.”
The movie has been produced by Colosceum Media and Viacom18 Studios.
